Great Stuff fireblock sealant
Mason, Dow's great stuff says that it can be used as fireblock according to ICC-ES Legacy report Ner-645 but the local code inspector down here says it can't be used. Who's right.

The Legacy report is correct. There was a clarification in the use of sealant foam as part of a fire block system in the 2007 ICC code supplement. Contact the manufacturer's technical representative for assistance with the code official. |
