Posted: Jan 04, 2011 04:23 PM	Insulation Tax Credits for Foam Roofing Hi Mason, We are going to spray foam over an asphalt roof on a condo complex here in Lake Tahoe. Some of the people in the HOA own top-floor condos which will have improved energy efficiency from the added insulation to their roofs. Is there anyway for the home owners themselves to collect any "home insulation" tax incentives from the government? Likewise, if we foam the roof on a single family home, can they collect? At the present they can receive 30% of the cost of the work up to $1500. But, the new tax bill would take that down to 10% of the cost. I am not sure when that would take effect. Have to look it up.
