Mason,I am looking for a professional article covering the simple science of spraying foam to the roof deck resulting in an unvented attic and a total foam building envelope. I could not find anything at sprayfoam.org. Thank you Rob |

Rob, There is a one page technical document at sprayfoam.org on unvented attics and cathedral ceilings, but it does not contain much meat. They started a draft doc a few years ago but did not complete it. Ironically I am currently working on a bunch of technical articles on behalf of one the SPF suppliers that includes the document you are requesting. But, the articles will be proprietary and available only to their customers. Try some of the suppliers for their technical articles. Also,check out the articles I wrote recently at RSI online magazine and Construction Specifier's Oct issue. I address unvented attics in those as well but not as a stand alone document. |
