MIxing Chamber Size
Mason,In your opinion which size mixing chamber works best for closed cell foam. |

There is no one correct size. You want to match the size to the proportioner settings of heat and pressure You would use a smaller tip for detail work and a larger tip for open wall areas. Ask your foam and equipment supplier for their recommendations |

they all work good... start small say 42 or 52 so you can control the pattern,,,learn to spray with this and then step up in size as you learn how to handle the gun...we shoot most work with an 70 and even use an 86 when things are warmer,, remember,,,size does matter,,specially when it is cold...if you are struggleing with grainy,,,cold foam,,lower your chamber size,,,(while doing the other changes to your processing equip)this will afford better "impingement" and may help you some... hope this helps dude |
