New Rig
Just starting out - haven't sprayed anything yet. Just trying to buy my equipment now and wanted to find out if anyone had experience or would suggest some equipment. I bought the Glascraft A5, probler p2 guns, diaphram pumps and all the accessories. I wnat to but an Air-Gen D-25/40 "all in one" unit. It has a screw type compressor with 40-100cfm air and 25kw power - what do you think? The other piece of equip is a couple 3M PAPR AdFlo portable air units for the spray guys to wear instead of luggin 100' of hose in a place. Will this work or does anyone have experience using the portable units?

Check out Eaton Compressors on the web. I bought a 10HP rotary screw compressor/tank/conditioned air dryer for my rig. They can be single or 3 phase depending on if your using house current or a generator. They are large and not cheap, but are made to run 24/7 and built like a brick sh** house. The service and tech support you get from these guys is unsurpassed. |
