Ridge Vents?
Has anyone had issues with Open Cell squeezing through Cor A Vent ridge vents? Do I need to block them with fiberglass before I spray?

I think it is better to block the vent before spraying, (with a board insulation preferably), but would like to get the opinion of some open and closed cell contractors and suppliers on the topic. What is the most common practice in your area? Spray it shut or cover it and then spray it. |

We cover them with 1/2" white bead board, then spray over them. Shingles will probably be replaced before the insulation, so there's no sense bonding directly to the ridge vent. Works for us. |
