roof warping
I built my house back in October 2016 I sub contracted the insulation to a spray foam company in which they spayed open cell foam directly to the under side of my roof decking and gable end walls, now every where foam was applied i have warping issues. The foam has pulled the decking down between the trusses causing the metal roof to dip between trusses rolling edges of metal sheets up. I have 10ft porches in which no foam was applied also no foam in the outside walls in which they are all straight with no warping. I need to find a expert to ascertain the cause of this damage.Mike |

Mike, I haven't seen open cell foam cause warping of a roof deck unless there is a moisture condensation issue. Call me at 571-239-5221 to discuss more fully and to see what we can do to evaluate and address the issue. |

There is no way possible for open cell to do that unless they actually put closed cell in and you just dont know it. Its just not that strong. |
