spray foam closed cell
My roof/ceiling is 2 x 10" rafters@ 24"inches OC. Nothing above except the uninstalled plywood. Face nailed to the bottom of each rafter is 2 x 10 inch tongue and groove douglas fir. The rafter space should be a non vented roof structure. A. Can I still achieve this by spraying from above and then nailing the roof plywood over it?

B. If not, can I spray the R-30/5 inches insulation and then create a 4-1/2" airspace above the sprayfoam? Drill holes and add screen to all exterior rafter blocking, and find a way to vent the ridge of my low slope roof?

Id rather do A. and keep the non vented roof structure.
Wish I could email a picture or two.
Thanks
