Spray Foam in Attic Conversion
Hello. We are doing an attic conversion. We have 2x8s rafters and am considering spray foam versus batt insulation. We are about to get a new roof as well. The roofer wants to put ridge vents above the room to keep it cool, but I've been reading up on spray foam and believe the two do not mix. Can someone please advise on what we should do? If you are a contractor in the area, it would be nice to hear from you. I am in the DFW area, and am happy to provide pics.
