Sprayed PU Foam as fire hazard
Hi Mason,Do you know anything about FM global which classifies polyurethane foam as a flame hazard material. They did not approve the use of SPF in their roofing. Do you mind checking on their web site www.fmglobal.com and help me counter their claims. Thanks |

This may be a case of one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing. FM Global Research tests roof coverings and classifies them if they pass a series of tests as Class I Roof Coverings. The tests include fire tests both inside and outside the building. More than a dozen SPF foam and coating systems have been tested and approved and listed as Class I Roof Coverings. |
