Spraying underside of truck to cut road noise
I was considering foaming the underside of my truck - does anyone do this? Bad idea? Other than avoiding the muffler/exhaust, I was pretty sure it would work. |

Yes, it has been done before and it does cut down on road noise and heat. But, make sure the foam is not exposed to temperature more than 200 degrees F. The foam will char |

I guess it would work, depending on what density foam you would use. I probably wouldn't do it considering adhesion to metal, wear and tear due to road dirt, grime, salt if you live in the northern states. |
