tall wall "deflection"
Mason,I am building a new house, 2x6 walls, and insulating with 2lb closed cell foam. Do you where can I find some info on deflection of a wall that is 14'? It is on a gable end. What I would like to find out is how much strength is added with 3" of closed cell foam. I understand it will depend on how many windows and how big they are. My goal is to use 2x6 studs and prove it will meet code. Thanks |
