Training
New to the industry and am scheduled for a week long training on the equipment and chemicals for the first week in Jan.Is there any information I should be reviewing prior to the training, I would hate to fail the test? |

If you have already hooked up with a supplier, you should already have a binder with some basic info in it. I've been through a few classroom training deals and they all give you the basic info. On ratio/off ratio. Pressures. Heat. Substrate and safety info. The best thing that happened to me was when I got my hand on a trigger. I wasn't very mechanical (and still aren't) but when I got my rig assembled, a couple suppliers came up and worked with me on operating everything. As far as spraying, you really need to know your equipment more than anything to get running. That way when something on the wall/roof doesn't look right, you can go to the problem pretty quick. |
