typical energy savings in a retrofit applicaiton?
What is a average percentage saved on energy bills when the roofdeck of an existing home is sprayed and existing insulation is removed from the ceiling floor, creating a nonvented attic system?

I did a ceiling in a log cabin where the customer removed the filterglass and I sprayed 3" of CC. He distributed the filterglass around the attic again. We maintained the existing ventilation and he is claiming savings of 45 to 50%. This amounted to about a 3 year payback. |
