Mark Mouton Posted: Jun 02, 2012 07:41 PM	Whats better?(Air Compressor) (I'm new to this forum and don't know what questions have been asked,) so I'm gonna ask a question a certain way. Not considering the cost, what is a better compressor,Screw or rotary vane? and why?

Where the rotary vane compressor uses centrifugal force to push the vanes into contact with the housing creating heat and wear. The screw compressor should run cooler and last longer by design.
