| Comments | The structure is an older metal carport type thing that has been enclosed to be a garage. I am guessing the sq ft of the walls and roof to be around 1100sq ft--I have not measured them to verify. I am basically looking for a good estimate, either per sq ft or total, so I can decide how I want to proceed with insulating this space. I think the open foam would be adequate, unless there are factors (roof?) where the closed cell is needed. The ends are made with 2x4 studs, and the walls and ceiling are double metal pipe, one stacked on the other, that is probably 5-6" wide--so more like the width/depth of a 2x6. |
