Spray polyurethane foam is nothing if not a versatile material. In residential construction applications alone, SPF is used in a variety of locations (walls, roof decking, window frames, etc.) and for numerous reasons (insulating, sealing, soundproofing, etc.). SPF has even reached the heights of low earth orbit by insulating the space shuttle fuel tanks, and also currently journeys to the subterranean depths of mining operations.
